Captn Bill has been on or around water since childhood. Starting with canoeing, swimming and lifesaving in the Boy Scouts, Mack has continued on to include bass fishing, power boating, wilderness canoeing, and his love, sailing for the last 20 years. He loves racing and chartering sailboats.

In 2007, Captn Bill completed the USCG OUPV 6-Pack course and has been certified by the American Red Cross for standard first aid and Adult CPR/AED.
